Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer Review

I do not get very tan in the summer to begin with…the Irish in me brings out more of a red tint. It’s safe to say I need all the help I can get as far as tanning goes. I have never used a tanning bed or spray tan because of the negative long term effects the UV beds can have, and the streaking that comes after spray tans start to fade that I have seen on people.

Being that I look like a ghost from losing my summer tan in the winter, AND because I am going to Hawaii in about a month, I started using Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin. It is their brand new product this season. I have used their products in the past and been not completely satisfied, but this time has been different. It has been a little over a week of using it, and my experience has been much better than those in the past.

This lotion is a little bit weird because instead of putting it on after you dry off, you put in on right when you are done showering, while your skin is still wet. The smell is a light, perfume like one, so nothing too strong. I have not noticed any streaking, or any color discrepancies either.  What you must do though in order to prevent this is use only the recommended amount (which is about a dime sized amount) and you have to make sure you fully rub it in. I’m talking like 5 minutes minimum continuing to rub it in even after you have applied it everywhere that you want to. Also, make sure to wash your hands (in between your fingers specifically). I have not had any problems as I mentioned, but from using their past products, I knew to do this already. After you apply it, you just dry yourself off and get dressed. You don’t even have to wait for the lotion to dry.  I was skeptical of this being that I thought the lotion would get on my clothes and off my skin, but again, have not noticed anything of the sorts. If you are looking to get a head start on your summer than, then I would definitely recommend this lotion!
